My Hero’s Song Playlist for Law of Attraction
Law of Attraction is the third book in my Tangled in Texas series. While this romance is written in first person through the heroine’s eyes, I thought it would be fun for my hero to compile a song playlist for their love story in his own perspective. After all, Seth Landry is one of my favorite heroes of all time! A deadly mercenary who falls for a single mom and has the most adorable relationship ever with her four-year-old son? Yes, please! Not only that, but I’m pretty sure he is the one-line champion of the world. Of course, that could just be my bias showing. 😉
Single mother Bobbie Weston is turning a run-down chicken farm into a Bed & Breakfast and agrees to let Seth Landry stay with her in exchange for his handyman skills. He needs a place to lay low and an out-of-the-way Bed & Breakfast is perfect. The pretty blonde doesn’t trust men, and he doesn’t plan on sticking around long enough to change her mind.
Nothin’ to Lose by Josh Gracin
Yet their level of attraction is off the charts and the close proximity has them unable to keep their hands off each other.

But a relationship between them would never work. Not when Seth has been keeping a dangerous secret from Bobbie. He has a special skill-set, all right, but it has nothing to do with hammering nails. Seth is a retired member of The Resistance—an elite group of ex-military soldiers.
Tainted Love by Soft Cell
Bobbie knows he’s hiding something from her and tries to keep her distance, holding on to her fear of watching another man walk out of their lives. Seth pushes her away as well because his dark, unsettling past still haunts him.

But no matter how hard they try to stay away from one another, sometimes fate has a plan of its own…
What Lovers Do by Maroon 5 (Feat. SZA)
Unfortunately, his mere presence in their lives has put Bobbie and her son in jeopardy. To save them, he has no choice but to turn into the trained killer that he once was to take out his enemy. The only way to ever be free of his dangerous past is to accept one last mission…
Monster by Skillet
Fearing for his life, Bobbie pleads with him to stay with her, even going as far as telling him that if he leaves not to ever come back. But Seth can’t ignore the threat looming over the woman he loves. Although he risks losing her by leaving, he’ll do what he has to in order to protect her. Even if that means giving her up.
Chainsaw by Nick Jonas
When Seth returns, he knows he has some groveling to do if Bobbie is going to forgive him for leaving her like he did. But he’s crazy about her—and her son—and wants her to know that he’s in it for the long haul. He can’t live without them. Lucky for him, Bobbie feels the same about him.

For single mom Bobbie Jo Weston, finding a husband is not on her to-do list. She’s focused on turning a run-down chicken farm into a Bed & Breakfast. To help her achieve that goal, she agrees to let a friend’s nephew stay with her in exchange for his handyman skills. But Seth Landry isn’t quite who she pictured. For one, he’s very tall. And broody. And super sexy.
Seth has a special skill-set, all right, but it has nothing to do with hammering nails. As a retired member of The Resistance—an elite group of ex-military soldiers—his dark, unsettling past haunts him. He needs a place to lay low, and an out-of-the-way B&B is nothing short of perfect. The blonde beauty doesn’t trust men, and he doesn’t plan on sticking around long enough to change her mind.
The closer they get, though, the more they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. And while Bobbie holds on to her fear of watching another man walk out of their lives, Seth’s mere presence has put them all in jeopardy.
