Top 5 Christmas Songs that Get you in the Yuletide Mood.

  1. “Last Christmas” by Wham

This song makes me bittersweet, but I am ready to settle in with a good romance book that offers a second chance love. Hmmm. What would I be reading?

  1. “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy William

This is my mall song. Bump Halloween and the fall and all the other months and go straight to Christmas. I hear this song, and I am ready to start my shopping list.

  1. “Silver Bells” by Bing Crosby

This puts me in the mood for all those Hallmark Movies and the Lifetime ones when I know no one is going to die. Ok, I will let a good Christmas stalker movie play.

  1. “Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer” by Elmo & Patsy

This song always gives me giggles. It takes me back to high school when I first heard it.  Being young at heart is the key to a great Christmas.

  1. “The Christmas Song” (1961) by Nat King Cole

This is another of my mall favorites. It makes me want to light up my fireplace right now and curl up with a blanket and a hot toddy.

If you can listen to these five songs and still have a heart of coal, you just need to pick a good romance to melt your heart. Vanessa’s orders.
