#TravelTuesday with Sheryl Nantus

In Her Alpha Viking the pair embark on a road trip to avoid their immortal hunter, heading across the United States and staying at various campgrounds – I’ve also traveled across the country using almost the same route, going from Toronto, Canada to San Francisco many, many years ago! So let’s take a look at one great campground I stayed at – and if Brenna and Erik had their choice, would have definitely turned off to stay a night or three!

Yosemite National Park is a breathtaking wilderness area of over a thousand miles, giving you a chance to get away from civilization and really bond with nature. There are a variety of campgrounds open to the public, allowing visitors to travel through the park and find a different spot to stay every night, if they want.

We stayed at Tamarack Flats Campground during our trip and it was a wonderful overnight stay in the park – not too far from the park border and gave us easy access back onto the highway as we headed East!

I’m sure Erik and Brenna would have loved a quickie in the woods here! *grins*

Former soldier Erik Harrison is a dead man walking. The sole survivor of an ambush, the guilt of losing his friends is crushing. He questions his own sanity, remembering the vision he saw as he was dying –– a battle angel come to collect his friends’ souls.

Valkyrie Brenna Lund doesn’t know why she failed in her duty to reap Erik’s soul on the battlefield. He deserves his place with the other mighty warriors in Valhalla, and if she wants to return home, she has to kill him.

There are consequences for betraying the gods. But the closer Brenna and Erik become, the more they both want to risk everything for a future together. If only an immortal hunter weren’t sent to kill them both.
