❤️❤️❤️

“Rachel, don’t look at me like that.”

“Like what?”

“Like you used to.”

Landon stole our ❤️ in Nova, book #2 of the Renegades series by Rebecca Yarros. He’s sexy, he’s strong, and he loves with all his heart.

Does she still hate me? I hope so. I deserved it. Lord knew I hated myself enough for the both of us. The problem with love was that once it was gone, there was no filing that hole, no substitute for that euphoria.”

He also happens to be a complete bada** at extreme sports. So we decided to look into some totally crazy extreme winter sports that we’d be willing to try IF Landon was our teacher.

Come on, with feelings like this:

My heart reminded me that I was going to have to fight for this woman with every weapon in my arsenal if I wanted her. And damn, I wanted her. Craved her. Needed her.

How can you NOT fall in love?

1. Snow Biking

This one seems to be a good choice as a way to ease into the “extreme” part of winter sports. There’s the fluffy white stuff we love, and a bike with big tires. They say once you learn to ride a bike you never forget, right?  We GOT this.

2. Snow Kiting

This one involves using a kite to glide across some snow. Sounds doable, and you KNOW Landon totally kicks a** at this. While it can be done on skis or a snowboard, we’re going to be bold and go with the snowboard. Actually, can we just hop a ride with Landon? He IS a professional snowboarder after all. In fact, it’s probably safer for us to just ride along with him. So, in the name of safety, we are all over Landon…err…snow kiting.

3. Ice Diving

Scuba diving: we can handle that much. It’s the one entry, one exit that has us shaking in our boots a bit. We can only imagine the incredible world hiding underneath all that ice, the sparkling clear water. It’s got to be one of those life-changing experiences. Maybe if Landon takes all the required training with us (you didn’t think just having SCBA certification qualified you for this one, did you?), we might be convinced to give it a try.

4. Ice Sailing

Not gonna lie, this one looks amazing. We are SO in (just as long as there is room for two). Who are we kidding, we’d totally do this one solo. Maybe a race with Landon would be in order. We would totally win (just don’t tell Landon we said that).

5. Ice Driving

If you’ve ever been off-roading, admit it…you totally want to try this. We’re ready to book our weekend getaway with Landon to Norway. If you haven’t googled Ice Driver…you’re welcome. A little extreme ice driving during the day, an evening of relaxation at the spa, followed by a candle light dinner for two? If you aren’t sold yet, you aren’t human.

So there you have it, the top five extreme winter sports we’d be willing to try as long as Landon Rhodes is our teacher. What do you think? Are you ready to take it to the extreme this winter? Which sport tops your list?

While your thinking it over, be sure to meet Landon Rhodes in Nova by Rebecca Yarros, out now!

They say a girl broke him once—
That’s why he’s so reckless, so driven, so careless with his conquests.
But I’m that girl.
They can call me his curse all they want.
He and I both know the truth—
He’s the one who destroyed me,
And I’m not the sucker who will let that happen again.
