Isn’t he to swoon for? I’d give him my bacon. For more swoon-worthiness read this kissing scene.

The bed dipped, and Luke’s body heat and shower-fresh scent wrapped around Sela.. She quickly closed her laptop and turned. He wore a long-sleeved navy blue T-shirt and gray sweatpants and looked mouthwateringly good as he combed his fingers through his dark, wet hair. “Hey. I think it’s dinnertime. Should we head to the main house?” she said.

“Not yet.” He scooted closer. His hand on her shoulder stopped her from rising. “There’s something I need to do first or I’m going to go insane.”

His brilliant green eyes didn’t just look at her, they seemed to look inside her—a gaze that touched her heart and claimed every piece of it. She stared back for achingly long seconds, wondering what he was thinking before she glanced at his mouth. It was so very, very close. All she had to do was lift slightly and his lips would be hers again.

He brushed the back of his hand across her cheek and pulled back slightly, as if giving her time to reconsider their position. Desire rushed through her at his sweetness.

“Do it,” she said.

The next thing she knew, his mouth was on hers.

And she didn’t hesitate for a second to kiss him back. Her arms went around his neck. He shifted his weight and his hands moved to her waist. She should push him away. Stop this before he remembered how awful she kissed. But she didn’t. Because he seemed to be enjoying the kiss as much as she was. He didn’t pull away, didn’t recoil and wipe the back of his hand across his lips in disgust.

Quite the contrary. He moaned and deepened the kiss. His body pressed hers into the bed. What started as a slow, careful exploration turned hot and unyielding. Then after a while, it slowed again, as if Luke wanted to savor every sensation. She didn’t want him to stop. She didn’t want this dream to end.

About the book:

Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend’s older brother. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating—and frustratingly tempting—Luke.

As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he’s never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he’s become a man of honor?
