The Entangled Publicity team has a “hunt” of their own planned for RT attendees. We’ll be giving away print books, digital titles, and one lucky person will win a Nook HD+
There are a couple ways to win and participate so here’s how it’s gonna go down.
A few times throughout registration Tuesday and Wednesday, an Entangled Publicity Director will be handing out our scavenger hunt buttons and game cards until we run out. You’ll want to hang on to that button, because if you’re spotted wearing this button on Saturday May 4th while waiting for The Giant Books Fair then you’ll be given a print book right there on the spot. Easy as that.
The next hunt is a little more involved, but the reward is a little sweeter! Here’s how one lucky RT-er will win a Nook HD+ and 15 others will win 5 digital books of their choice!
During registration you’ll also get a scavenger hunt “game card” while supplies last. Throughout the convention when you come across a Publicity Director while she’s in “game mode” you can ask for her signature. You need to collect all three signatures to be entered to win. Now, you’re probably asking yourself How will I know when they’re in game mode? and How will I know where I can find them?
The 3 Publicity Directors, Dani, Heather, and Jessica have gone out of their way to make sure it’s pretty clear when they’re in game mode. Think bunny ears, clown noses, obnoxious glasses. But they’ll also be wearing their own personalized scavenger hunt button. We included their picture on the game card too. That’s it on the right.
They’ll be tweeting their locations throughout the event using the hashtag #EntangledRT13 So be sure you’re following that conversation.
