Here’s Kelley Vitollo, ready for some Straight Talk!

How do you celebrate when you finish writing a book?

Probably not in the healthiest way. Celebration usually includes ice cream. LOL. I also love celebrating online with readers. Twitter, FB and blogs. I love chatting!

If you could have dinner, coffee, or drinks with a fictional character, who would you choose and where would you go?

Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series! LOL. He is my all time favorite vampire. He’s funny, sexy and sarcastic, three of my favorite things! And if he was there, I’d go anywhere!

What was the inspiration for your book?

For LUCK OF THE DRAW, I wanted to do something really fun. Rowan’s character was already around because of LUCKY BREAK and I love her. She’s strong and feisty and I knew I had to find the perfect guy for her. This book was about fun and romance and Breck Wilder fit that perfectly!

Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?

Write, write, write and read, read, read. Also, never give up. It took me many years, multiple manuscripts and a lot of rejection to get to where I am right now. And I wouldn’t change any of it!

Where does the magic happen?  Where do you write?

I LOVE writing at the bookstore. There’s something special about writing around books and people reading. I often go write at the bookstore. If not there, I have a little desk at home where I work.

Do you prefer print books or eBooks?

I love them both. There’s something special about print books. I will always love them, but I end up reading ebooks more often. That one click gets me every time J

What’s in the works for you?

I just finished the third book in the Shamrock Falls series, which will be out later this year!

Luck Of The DrawWhat happens when her one night in Vegas doesn’t stay there?

Rowan McKinley isn’t looking for one wild night while vacationing in Vegas, but she gets it anyway when she meets professional poker player—and professional ladies’ man—Breck Wilder. Breck’s easygoing charm and lighthearted banter draw in the reserved Rowan, and though she’s always dreamed of the kind of forever love her best friends Sidney and Kade share, she’ll settle for one night with the charismatic player.

After their crazy one-night stand, Breck never expected to see the mysterious redhead again. So when he shows up at a Shamrock Falls B&B looking to get away for a few weeks and Rowan answers the door, he’s floored. Breck’s rolling-stone lifestyle and ill-fated history with women means he’s not interested in anything long-term. But the longer he stays at the B&B, the more he considers dropping the poker face and putting all his cards on the table…for Rowan.
