We just received exciting news about Rosalie Lario’s Mark of the Sylph, book 2 in her Demons of Infernum trilogy. It was awarded a PERFECT 10…yes, you read that right, a PERFECT 10 from Romance Reviews Today.
What does that mean? Romance Reviews Today has only one grading system… The Perfect 10 system. If a reviewer thinks a book is deserving, meaning truly exceptional, it receives the Perfect 10.
Any Perfect 10 book is entered as a nominee into RRT’s Best Book of the Year Award for overall best book and in the book’s genre category.
And Mark of the Sylph hit the mark! It’s up for Best Book overall, for best book in the paranormal genre, and is a PERFECT 10.
Congratulations to Rosalie!
Half-demon Taeg is desperate to free his pregnant sister-in-law, who is spellbound to an indestructible book that will create an army of the undead. He is convinced that an ancient sword can destroy the book and the spell forever, but this relic has been hidden for a millennia by a powerful glamour. The clock begins to run out on his search when an old rival goes after the book and Taeg’s family in his quest for revenge.
Librarian Maya Flores has a secret: she’s immune to magic and is well aware of the supernatural beings prowling the streets of New York City. Haunted by a brutal demon attack that took her family, she is on a one-woman mission to destroy the evil demons who did it—and any others who get in her way.
Maya is Taeg’s best hope for uncovering the sword. Unfortunately, she wants nothing more than to kill him. As he fights for her trust and to save his family, she is forced to face the truth that not all demons are evil. And the worst part? She might be falling in love with one, too.

I’m reading Mark of the Sylph right now, and this so does not surprise me. I think on one of Rosalie’s blog, I demanded more Taeg, and boy did she deliver. I love this guy. He’s going up in my fave hero of all time box. Congratulations, Rosalie. So well deserved!
Thank you. I was so honored to learn about Mark of the Sylph’s Perfect 10 from Romance Reviews Today. As for Taeg, he’d probably say it was no surprise, but I’m willing to bet his swagger would be a bit more cocky than usual. 🙂
