What’s On My Nightstand with Robin Bielman

Like all of you, I love to read. Every night before I go to sleep, I read at least a few chapters. It’s comforting and routine and something my hubby and I share at the end of the day. (Not the same book—he prefers science fiction/fantasy novels.) The only problem? There are SO many great books out there and I’m not a fast reader. I know I’m not alone with the ridiculously large number of digital and print book in my TBR pile and would love to hear from you on what you’re reading! Here’s what is on my nightstand right now…

On a dark brown nightstand, five paperback books are stacked one on top of the other. Behind them is artwork of painted pink flowers in a pink vase.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I’m currently reading this one and it’s so good.  I love Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books and how she weaves the past with the present with characters who feel so real it’s like I’m in the pages of her novels.

Ms.Demeanor by Elinor Lipman and The Sweet Spot by Amy Poeppel

These are two new-to-me authors and I bought both these books on the same day when I walked into my local Barnes & Noble. (It was a Buy One Get the Second for 50% Off and I can’t resist a book sale!) The Sweet Spot was a B&N Staff Pick of the month and I’m looking forward to reading both.

Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey

I read the first book in this series and loved it so I’m excited to dive into this one. Tessa is a master at romance writing and I always love everything about her stories. Plus, a hero named Fox? And a heroine who is immune to his playboy charms? Friends to lovers? Yes, please!

Almost Just Friends by Jill Shalvis

I love Jill Shalvis. I’ve fangirled over her since the start of my career and when I was lucky enough to meet her in person and fangirl with embarrassing words of love and adoration, she couldn’t have been nicer. I also love her books! LOL She weaves family and love and romance with perfection and always leaves me with a smile.

What’s on your nightstand?

Callie Carmichael has a gift for making bridesmaid dresses—some even call them magical. Somehow, every person who’s worn one of her dresses has found love. Real love. And as long as that happily-ever-after is for someone else, Callie is happy. Because she’s fully over getting her heart broken…which is why her new roommate is definitely going to be a problem.

After being overseas for six months, Callie’s only choice is to stay with her best friend’s ridiculously hot brother, Hunter Owens. Cowboy, troublemaker, and right now, the town’s most coveted bachelor. Only, Hunter isn’t quite the player she thought. And if it weren’t for her whole “no more love” thing, their setup could get confusing really fast.

Now, Hunter wants Callie to make him a best man suit—a “lucky for love” kind of suit. But what happens if she makes the suit and he finds true love…and it isn’t her?

Robin Bielman is the USA Today bestselling author of over fifteen novels. When not attached to her laptop, she loves to read, go to the beach, frequent coffee shops (and by frequent she means daily but she’s trying to break the habit), and spend time with her high school sweetheart husband and two sons. Her fondness for swoon-worthy heroes who flirt and stumble upon the girl they can’t live without jumpstarts most of her story ideas. She writes with a steady stream of caffeine nearby (see above) and the best dog on the planet, Harry, by her side. She also dreams of traveling to faraway places and loves to connect with readers.
