#Top5 Time Travel Issues with MK Schiller

Time Travel and alternative universes have always fascinated me. In my new book, Lost Years, my hero has to make tough choices for the girl he loves. Would you go back in time or give up your life to right a wrong?

There are so many things to consider when time traveling though! Rest assured, I’ve created my top 5 issues to consider.

So here is MK’s Trouble with time-traveling #topfive list

Did I miss anything?

1.Would you fund your trip by playing the stocks or betting on sports? I mean we do have to consider finances and who could pass up a quick way to make loads of money?

2. Would you visit your younger self? If so, what would you tell yourself?

3. Is time travel ethical? What if the things you did make irreparable changes to the present?

4. Would you stop a tragedy from happening? And how would you go about it?

5. What if you fell in love with someone? Would you stay in that time?

Bonus – – can you name all the movies I picked?

My new book, Lost Years, is about a man who dreams of scenes from a different life where he lives on an island and falls in love with a beautiful girl. The reality is that he’s a manwhore, who finds comfort at the bottom of a bottle. When all is lost, he spots a photo of an island…his island.

If the island is real then the girl has to be too.

Ever had a dream so real it feels like a memory?

I’ve had those kinds of dreams since I was a kid. Each one of a beautiful girl, who is my best friend. We grow up together on a sunny island surrounded by water that’s as blue as her eyes. We share all our hopes and fears until we realize we belong to each other in every way one person claim another. She is my own personal serenity. Sweet story, eh?

Well forget about it.

The cold, harsh reality is that I’m a twenty-year-old, Manhattan bred, manwhore, who uses his fists to solve his problems. The only comfort I find is inside a bottle… and the dreams. But the dreams are my illness not my cure. Just when things look the darkest, the sun slaps me square in the jaw. I spot a picture of a scenic island surrounded by the bluest water – my island.

If the island exists then so must the girl, right?

So I’m headed to Serenity, Texas to find my girl and make some sense out of the chaos that is my life. Feel free to tag along, but this journey comes with a steep warning — dreams can turn into nightmares in the blink of an eye.

My name is Jason Flynn and this is our story.

About MK:

I am a hopeless romantic in a hopelessly pragmatic world. I have a full time life and two busy teenagers, but in the dark of night, I sit by the warm glow of my computer monitor, and attempt to conjure up passionate heartwarming stories with plenty of humor. I started imagining stories in my head at a very young age. In fact, I got so good at it that friends asked me to create plots featuring them as the heroine and the object of their affection as the hero. We’d spend hours on the phone while I came up with a series of unrealistic, yet tender events, which led to a satisfying conclusion. You’ve heard of fan fiction… this was friend fiction. Even with that, it took many years to realize I could produce an actual full-length book that readers would enjoy. I try to make my stories humorous, realistic, with flawed but redeeming characters. I hope you enjoy my stories and always find The Happily Ever After in every endeavor.
